Raising cattle since 1997
Ebbwvale was established as an Angus Stud 24 years ago. Our established foundation Speckle Park herd uses quality genetics to produce seedstock to assist in optimising the profitability of commercial breeders and aid in providing diversity of genetics to other stud breeders.
Philosophy
Performance through balanced breeding
We believe in the philosophy of minimal stress in handling our animals and also in sustainable farming practices and caring for our environment.
We practice rotational grazing, regularly moving our cattle using laneways which allow movement without stress, resulting in quiet and easy to handle animals. Temperament is all important to us, a trait we value highly.
Sound, functional and fertile animals
We aim to produce sound, functional, fertile cattle, giving special attention to feet and legs, that will perform to benefit our clients and further the Speckle Park breed. All this without losing sight of the end product, tender, tasty beef for which the Speckle Park have won many paddock to plate awards
